PZM mics are great for pianos with the lid closed. Another mic to consider is 
a C tape.

PZM mics are very sensitive and pickup other instruments if they are around 
so the lid needs to be closed.

C-tapes are two strips that adhere to the bottom of a grand, one located near 
the treble, and the other near the bass. The strips are about 8" in length. 
These sound good and are not too tinny
