Hi Doug,
              I think that one of the problems with young people entering
the trade, is the lack of formal training academy's. The few credible
institutions that are offering programmes, are financially out of reach for
many. Since the majority of tuners are on the move most of the time, it's
very hard for them to take some one under their wing.
All North American companies have dropped their apprenticeship programmes,
so this is another factor.
