The "Butterfly" is a variation on the 200 series Wurlitzer electric Piano. Reeds are available from Morelock's Organ Parts and Service, Rienzi, MS. Phone 662-462-7611, 8:00 to 4:30 M-F. They have a fax but I don't know the number. Yes, all reeds are supplies flat so the have to be trimmed to be tuned. They are usually flat enough that I use a side cutters to take small "globs" of solder off that way there are no fine small filings that can get between the reed and the pick-up to give that "rauchous" popping when you try to play them. When installing a new reed, you want to make sure it is mounted close a possible to the front of the instrument. That way if you get it a "hair" sharp when tuning, you can extend it and get it in tune without having to remove it and add solder back again.
