ratio?

A few years back, someone handed me an article about pianos tuners. I can't
recall the magazine, but I do remember it saying there is about one piano
per household, and about one tuner for every 2500 pianos. In more cultural
areas there can be as many as one piano in every five households. The bottom
line of the article was that there is plenty of work for tuners especially
tuner/techs that develop good skills.
