It is possible to add solder back to a reed, you just have to get the reed
hot enough so the solder adhears to the reed.  Hold the reed at about a 75
to 80 degree angle on the side the solder is to be added to and practice
once or twice.  OR get a MITA, Int tech to do the work for you.
