Dan,
My tendencies would also flow in this direction.

 From my exposure to CA it is more brittle than epoxy
and might not have the compression strength to hold
a bridge pin once it filled a gap or tensile strength to
hold the split section of the bridge to the body with the
sheer effect of the pins re-engaged.

Then again, it might work long enough.
