I've probably tuned hundreds of them without noticing. The thing is, the stuff worked just fine as a keybed, and would probably still be working fine if the Moving and Destroyage guys hadn't worked their own magic on it. It's like today's use of MDF for cases. The stuff may not have the sex appeal of "real" lumber, but if it doesn't detract from function... In any case (sorry), it wasn't all that tough to make a new keybed, and with less sweeping up afterwards than if I had routed out for an inlay in a repairable keybed. I mis-typed "repairable" as "reparable", but that would be telling the story twice - wouldn't it? <G> Ron N
