I second, third and fourth the advice of others Pat.  

I would also recommend that this is an excellent place to use a visual
tuning aid.  Starting at the bass, tune note by note up the scale, using
only one mute.  Having the tuning pins marked in some way is a help, but
going up the scale note by note makes it easier.  And you will probably
have to do a pitch raise if you think it is safe or tune it where it is,
and explain to the customer that the instrument may not hold at concert
pitch.

As much as possible, on the two that I tune, I switch hands as possible,
and stand on one or the other end of the piano as long as possible.  To
the point of even almost laying down on the bass strings when I am
standing at the treble end.
