Clyde, list,
	For what it's worth, I went out to an under-maintained S&S upright last
month that was about 120¢ low. Wound up replacing several #17 loops, and
had no trouble with the customer, because the whole section of 17s was a
dull sheen compared to the rest. Wire size #s on the plate helped convince
the customer that it wasn't tuner brutality. They popped at the pin, of
course, with almost no movement. 
	Any other "dull" stories?
