damaged C3/was it dropped?

It sounds like this piano was dropped.  Notice any damage on the case?  The 
symptoms you describe are similar to a C7 that was dropped off a concert 
stage. If you detect exterior damage, it should be the mover you contact.

I have never seen a newly uncrated Yamaha that was not pretty close to pitch 
(or just above), and in relatively excellent regulation.  Something happened 
to this beauty after it left the factory. I would wager a lot of money on 
that explanation.
