PianoLac acts like a 100% burn-in coating, but it isn't. It has superior "wetting out" factors that create a chemical/mechanical bond between coats that occurs regardless of how much time elapses between spraying. It forms "one film" through sophisticated paint chemistry. One of the hardest things to understand about PianoLac is the commandment, thou shall not sand between coats. Sanding should be for leveling and dust particle removal. The PianoLac system renders between coat sanding redundant and wasteful. Sincerely, Arthur Grudko StarHawk Labs (PianoLac)
