I received a pleasant surprise just now at the web site of the
ENCYCLOPÆDIA BRITANNICA,

http://www.britannica.com/

I searched the encyclopedia for "piano" and the search yielded a page
that lists web piano links, and #1 on that list of links from
ENCYCLOPÆDIA BRITANNICA was our own "Piano Page." The ENCYCLOPÆDIA
BRITANNICA description of the Piano Page follows:

The Web's Best Sites

 The Piano Page
 Piano Technicians Guild
 Rating: [2 stars]
 Extensive collection of
 information on the piano,
 provided by the Piano
 Technicians Guild. Offers
 assistance concerning the
 purchase and care of
 pianos, as well as details
 regarding the industry,
 including lists of
 manufacturers and dealers,
 foundations and
 conventions, and
 technicians. Provides
 photographs, material about
 piano museums and
 research, and a discussion
 of related literature.

In the ENCYCLOPÆDIA BRITANNICA piano article there is a very good picture
of a grand action (but the picture of a grand piano is not so accurate...
oh well).

Congratulations to the originator of the piano page, Ron Berry.
