How about this one:

I called Epoxy Technology yesterday to get a current price on their 301.

A one pound can is $37 plus tax (free shipping when ppd.)
Then the secretary informs me that there will be and additional $15
"Hazardous Material" surcharge tacked on by decree of the Fedr'l Gummit.

I was somewhat prepared for this tax after looking at my last phone bill and
discovered a "Universal Connectivity". Pet projects of this administration.
I think this raises the tax rate to about 30% of the actual bill.

Save on taxes:
MSN Homepage has a section with the Top Ten Deductions, in there is this:

10. Self-employed owners can deduct the costs of hiring their children as
workers.

I think it's time we started throwing a few politicians into Boston Harbor.
