Further off topic, but would it not make good sense to develop cars that burn ethanol? We can produce enough corn to provide the world with food, so ethanol would be cheap here. If the oil lobbies would let up, maybe ethanol could have a shot. I don't know all that much about the negatives, but the concept surely is attractive. John Formsma Blue Mountain, MS
