In my humble, not-so-terribly-experienced opinion, they are definitively and significantly of lesser quality than a bad Korean piano, such as Samick. I have done some tuning for a Yamaha dealer, and his budget brand was the Pearl River. The ones I tuned were bad. Jumpy pins, very poor regulation, lots of pings & zings, false beats, etc. Recommendation: find another low-price brand - consider Samick or Young Chang - or, don't sell the heapy-cheapy at all!
