An antique dealer nearby asked me to repair a piano they just bought. It was used in a bordello to entertain customers. They claim that some of the ladies of the evening would sit or .....themselves from the top of the piano as sleezy music was played. Many other stories abound. The case of this old Kimball is completely covered in red naugahide (sp) with silver upholstry tacks, covering all the wood. A layer of upholstry batting under the naugahide gives the case an overstuffed appearance. The owners want it back in playing condition, and preserve the "finish."
