This is typical for most businesses these days.

Why? No one wants to pay a living wage to these folks, so...all they get are
the least skilled workers!

It's done in the name of profit. Nothing wrong with profit, but the consumer
suffers.

Here in the suburbs of Washington DC, where the median family  income (Fairfax
County, VA) is about $88,000 per year, very few businesses employ adults. It's
almost impossible to buy anything from someone over the age of 20-21 years old.
And of course, they know nothing about the product they sell.

I recently called Samick. Their parts man knows "zilch" about pianos. I bet
that's what he gets paid..."zilch".

Too bad for us.
