could anyone please tell what the differnce is between placing a tuning =
fork onto the bridge(all strings removed) and getting a sound as =
compared to when a string is used to vibrate the sound board?
I thought that the strings made the soundboard "move up and down" with =
their vibrations.Yet a tuning fork will still make a good sound yet it =
is not makeing the sound board move up and down.

Thankyou
