Re: I just got a call looking for a tuner "who is able to tune TO a midi module". It would be the same as tuning a piano to an organ. Just make sure the crew has the midi module they want you to match to set up near the piano, including having a keyboard to trigger the sample pitch. Play the sample, and tune the target note on the piano to it by ear. repeat 87 more times. The alternative would be to play the sample, measure the pitch with the SAT, tune the target to the SAT and then repeat the process 87 more times. One can only hope whatever tuning is cloned from the sample will make the piano sound good solo. But that is giving them what they wanted, however inadvisable.
