David I am using a Palmpilot Professional for my job since I bought it. With a little practice you would be surprised how many thinks you can acomplish. I am using the PalmPilot software, I find it easy to use and very complete. 100% easier than outlook. TIP: I designed a string which I use for each client "PECF SET00 00S00" P stands for piano ECF stands for the Urbanization where client lives, SET00 month and year when I have to contact him again, 00 additional info (I have a list in the Palm "Notes", S stands for Semestral or Yearly calls, last 00 are for the coordenates in my city map. In this way, plus few other notes added to the customer register, I can easily find everything and list things using the Palm Search feature. I never had problems till now Elian ----- Original Message ----- From: David Ilvedson <ilvey@jps.net> To: <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Thursday, March 30, 2000 1:43 AM Subject: Palm Pilots > I have perused the archives on this but I would appreciate private posts on > how exactly one uses a Palm Pilot in there business. i.e. Keeping track of > customer pianos, service done, whatever...I just bought one and I'm trying > to decide if I should use the Palm Software or MicroSoft Outlook which is on > my Office 2000 program.
