Save the file as a text file, no coeds, and then send it. You can use EDIT Filen.ame to check to see if it is indeed clean of control codes. Do not send it as an HTML file. This is part of your mail program "Properties" menus. Netscape is View/Properties/Formatting and check "Send as plain text" then OK. IE I don't know the menu system. Newton
