Arlie, I've tuned for Mr. Winston three times and have raised my normal tuning fee though I've not doubled it. I had to do two touch-ups,(before the concert and during the intermission) so have charged separately for each touch-up as well as the stand by time. Each time I also tuned the piano the day before the concert as he usually practiced that day. Have your bill prepared as you will be paid before you leave. He's a very nice man to work for and with as are the two young men that travel with him. Dottie Radd RPT U.W. Stevens Point Stevens Point, WI 54481 -----Original Message----- From: Arlie D. This is a new opportunity for me, so I am wondering how to charge for it. I'm not asking for amount, but rather for formula. He requests a full tuning that day, then a touch-up before the concert, and another at intermission. Any advice will be much appreciated. Arlie -- Arlie D.
