<< the rail tubing has some cracks in them. What is the long term problems if any to develop from this? >> Greetings, This is the long term problem! The action will not be as rigid as with new, solid rails, and your regulation will usually be irregular. I have had many rails replaced and it makes a difference. You may perhaps skip the let-off rail, since it doesn't receive the same loading as the other two, but cracked ones need to be replaced. Regards, Ed Foote
