List, I usually rebuild/restring grand pianos after the refinisher has had the piano. I hate worrying about messing up his work. Here in Louisiana I don't send the piano to him after restringing because I don't want to expose the strings, etc to the humidity in his shop or have them mess up my work. I'm considering the rust retarder paper you see in Asian pianos along with silicon bags put in the soundboard area and masking it off. Anyone have a procedure in place now that seems to work?
