Hi Bruce, Wow, the poor thing! Those numbers are pretty bleak. Sounds like Mason & Hamlin might want to replace that puppy! Something probably happened somewhere along the production line. Maybe the board didn't get dried out properly, or something happened to interrupt the glue up or glue in process.? It's really hard to tell exactly what. But the folks at the factory might have enough information to be able to point to particular thing, maybe even a particular event. I doubt they'd want to elaborate on it in public, even if they could nail it down to such a thing, but I would think that they would want to make things right. I only hope that it will bring about an exposure (to Mason & Hamlin) of the cause so that they can prevent the same thing from happening again. It's one thing to treat symptoms. It's another to go after the root problems. I always had a real soft spot in my heart for the old Mason & Hamlin. I played an old 9 footer about 20 years ago, and have yet to hear one that sends chills down my spine like that one did. Aah, memories... Sorry I'm not much help, but good luck, Brian Trout Quarryville, PA btrout@desupernet.net
