> Helicoil Yea, I thought that sounded good too. You just go down and pick up a 7/32x36 Helicoil and use the smaller stud agraffe, right? Since 7/32x36, and 1/4x36 are such common sizes in machinery and automobiles, that should be no problem, right? Guess what, as nice as that option would be, better phone first and save a trip. Even if Helicoil did make the 1/4x36 coil, all you'd need then would be a tap to cut the new threads in the plate. Who knows, you might get lucky and eventually need to do this repair the 20 or 60 times it will take to get your money's worth of use out of that custom made tap. If anyone has real information to the contrary, I'd sure like to hear about it. Ron N
