Hi Mark, Take a bulk tape erasure. Treat the quad density disk with it. Now format in the Wagon (it does format does it not?) If the wagon won't do a format then this idea will not work. The medium for a quad disk would be better than the double. You are correct about the head size. In the bad old days it was risky to transfer disks from one machine to another because of tracking errors. The recommended procedure was to copy the disk immediately to another one formated on the other persons machine.
