I think it is worth rebuilding. I've seen one, and it had potential. At the time, I just reconditioned the action, and the pins were on the loose side, but were holding. I'm sure the piano would have sounded a lot nicer with new wire on it along with new hammers, shanks and butts. I was also told that some of Stineways employees went to work for Ricca since the company was in the same city.
