Pianotech, I have a customer who has a Mason & Hamlin console made in 1947. It has a damper lift rod part which is broken. It is the part which the hangers on the rod go into which has a felt bushing. This part has a slot which is adjustable and can tear out. I was wondering if anyone has seen this before and if a suitable replacement part is available, if not,is there something I could use in its place? Any solutions or ideas on how I can make this repair would be appreciated. Thanks, Arthur Chickering Rockland,Maine
