You know for all this pitch raising effort you still are going to have a piano that needs that second pass. I "never" over-pull! I take my FAC readings in relation to A440 pitch...yes I bring those strings up to pitch no matter where the piano is at pitch-wise...I start at A0 and tune each string as I go quickly, 15 minutes. For me, overpull is going to mean a sharp piano when I start tuning. I think someone mentioned, you guys have too much time on your hands.
