I _was_ anxious about the centerpin and the drop screw but
the hammer did not have a staple in it.  the metal got hot
but not so hot as to burn, not like your spring.  (I wonder
if it still springs).

You _will_ have to tell the customer and show her your post,
or better still show her the post then tell her.  I hope she
has as much humor as you do.  Next time unhook the spring.

You have to admit though, it is funny.
