Cleaning Up Contact Cement

Bill, that is not a proverb it is intended to be an curse
and an insult.  Unlike our culture most do NOT like change.

Toluene is a clean up solvent for most contact cements (read
the label) but I am not sure about desolving old stuff.  You
may have to plane the surface to get the wood clean, flat
and straight.
