If anyone isn't using the "Don Mannino" style straight reamers (available
from Schaff) you don't know what your missing.  I only wish they would go up
to a 23 center pin...I know I should rebush but occassionally...

Don (what a great name!),

That they seized up doesn't mean the Protec was the cause.  it just means it
didn't work to prevent it.

Reaming and repinning will take care of it.  Be accurate, be consistent - it
makes a world of difference in the touch, and the tone will likely improve,
too!
