Thanks for the response Larry. I looked through the web and called a place - Dick Blick Art Materials dickblick.com). I asked them about "paint pens" and they said they were best used for wax. They recommended a water-based acrylic "Painter's Paint Marker". I ordered both fine and medium tips. It sounds like these are close to what several of you have identified. We'll see! Thanks again.
