I think the PTG better get used to associates because here we come ~ ! ! I would not even consider an affiliation with PTG if it were not for "Associate". Now that I know Roger is "only" an associate what motivation do I have for becomming rpt? I served my apprenticeship and was fortunat to be evaluated by two world class tuners, who later called me to substitute on occasion. One was the former tuner for the "Harvard of the west coast" and the other spoke German with Herr G_____ himself about action design. Both had disparaging comments about (some aspects) of the Guild. But I am glad to say their comments didn't stick (that long). From my expeince the Guild is "more in tune" now... ; ). It is a great organization made even greater by the computer revolution ---ric ----- Original Message ----- From: jolly roger <baldyam@sk.sympatico.ca> To: <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Wednesday, April 25, 2001 8:05 PM Subject: Re: Associate to associate , but unfortunately | many | seem to quit the learning, and attending conventions.
