Well, I apparently had that one wrong. I thought that it was the other guy
that could charge whatever he wanted, and I had to pay up and fix it myself
after he left, but that my prices had to be "reasonable", and the work
guaranteed, and I'd be responsible for cheaply cleaning up and finishing
the job I lost to the lower bidder. I think I've got it now. Thanks for
straightening me out.

This stuff is all so complicated.
