I'm not sure we really want to outwit the stuff. It's made this way for a
reason -- I've always felt pianos sound a bit better once the blood
sacrifice has been made. Of course I've never been able to do an A/B
comparison, not having ever managed to string one without leaving at least a
couple of drops of blood behind.
