safety/idiots and sharp objects

I once was putting a hitch pin bend in some treble wire.  I suddenly felt
a sting in my cheek as it accidently whipped around.  The sharp end had
missed my eye by a fraction of an inch, and like Ron Nossaman said, blood
was flowing freely.  I now wear safety glasses when appropriate!
