Restoring old uprights

I service a 1920 50-inch-tall Bush & Lane Upright Grand. It is an upright
that truely has a reason to be called an upright grand. The top two treble
sections have true capo bars as a top speaking length termination (quite a
devil to get mutes in though!). Swinging the 18,000 lb. rascal out from the
wall will reveal a laminated bent inner rim that the soundboard is glued
to - curved and all just like a grand. Quite an instrument. I wish they
wanted to rebuild it right.
