Hi Stephen,

Of the pianos u listed only the Yamaha would be a good one to learn on. The
PG-150 would be harder than the U1 series

If you are breaking strings when *not* turning your tuning lever then
either the string was defective or you are hitting way too hard. 

For your Ricca Iwould suggest a CA glue treatment.
