Tuning a Player Piano

Delton,
You do not give the age of the piano.
If the player has a felt mute sometimes taking this off the piano is not
necessary. After you remove one end One can sometimes access the strings to
mute them by blocking up the felt mute with the long bracket that holds the
gear box thingee. I like my 10 inch long split rubber mute for these
beasties.
