Here's an experiment someone could try before a pitch raise:

Test 1
Tape a strip of paper to a rib adjacent to a beam.
Extended the strip down beside the beam.
Mark a reference point on the strip and the beam.

Raise pitch, look for board flex as indicated by the reference marks.
Leave the strip attached to follow humidity fluctuations.

Test 2

Tape a thread along a strut and mark its position on the strut.
Raise pitch and note any change. Leave thread attached for future reference.
