Graeme, Yes, I remember reading somewhere about doing this, but I have never done it. I would probably use a balance rail pin rather than a nail -- looks a little more professional. I also wasn't sure how hard the metal of the liftrod tongue is and wasn't sure if I should go this route, but I will definitely keep it in mind and we may end up doing it this way. Thanks!
