Upright Hammer Selection

Doing my first upright hammer replacement. Old upright. Reasonably good
shape. Rebuilding action (butts, dampers, etc.), and she will likely
restring & whatever in future. Among Renner, Abel, Ronson, Isaac, or
who-ever-else, would anyone care to point out characteristics of these
manufacturers of upright hammers? All else being equal, I will likely get
Abels from Wally Brooks. I have used those for most grand jobs and have been
delighted with the hammers. Thanks
