David,
I too have used Renner parts for years and have not had any problems. I
simply was making the observation that it MAY be a problem when salt air of
the coastal areas such as San Fransico or Tillamook, etc. I will continue to
use Renner, even though I'm not an advocate of graphite. It works for them
and I'm not going to dispute one of the best action makers in the world.
