A dampp chaser question

No doubt, a whole system is what she needs. Half a system is half as good.
Consider the mylar (or whatever it is) back available from DC also. You are
talking 80+% RH in the room in the summer with the window open (maybe over
90% at night), and quite low in January with the heat cranked up. I don't
install the humidification portion here in Florida, but the winter low RH
indoors seldom gets below 40%. I'll bet 10% is not uncommon anywhere the
heat goes on.
