Wasn't one of the benifits of = the Centripital Tension Resonator supposed to be that it could be = adjusted to 'restore' crown? Surely you'd have to tighten them to = accomplish that little trick, wouldn't you? While tapping on the board with my fist I hit the spider and it was = really loose and vibrating. The loosest was the one going straight back = to the end of the tail. I ended up tighting three of the rearward struts = till I could just hear the case slighty creak / groan, you know snug.=20 That's basically what I do, if it needs doing at all. I always bang on = them just to be sure they don't rattle or buzz. Most are. Anyway, I just = try to get them snug. I don't like hearing the case creak and grown, = though. You're brave. I've pondered what I'd do if I ever pulled one = out... =20 Maybe it was my imagination but the sustain which was already good = got better where it counts. I guess it does makes sense considering the = case impedance was no doubt enhanced.=20 I sure hope it was your imagination considering how massive those rims = are and how well braced they are even without the CTR.=20 Del ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
