SAT repair trouble & rant

Hi,
One of the mods, they did at Inventronics, on my Ser#162, was add a LED,
that told there was power going to the unit when it was plugged in.
The $75 charge for  a checkup, covers quite a bit. But the charge for the
batteries is extra.
