Clearly, English is not Marie's first language. That is not a crime. I took her comments to mean that the tone of the discourse she was obviously trying to follow was getting more personal than substantive and had become a bit of a pissing contest. I tend to agree with her. The subject is an important one, one which I am beginning to explore in depth, and one in which there is apparently some disagreement. I too am interested in hearing the different sides articulated clearly without all the trappings. If the purpose of the list is the sharing of information, then I think we should take heed of her comments and leave the personal insults out of our discourse.
