I wouldn't play water music on your paper plate soundboard.
It might get soggy and lose crown.

Have you ever considered recycling your old soundboards into paper plates?
These would be unique spruce paper plates to be used only to serve
refreshments at chapter meetings.  The premium version would have the
tighter grain pattern.
